Based in Accrington, Lancashire, Accolade Logistics is one of the North West’s established haulage and distribution companies. From humble beginnings with just one vehicle, the family-run business has grown considerably and today operates a diverse fleet serving businesses throughout the region and beyond.

Accolade prides itself on combining the capabilities of a major haulage operation with the personal service of a family business. Reliability, fair pricing and excellent customer service remain at the heart of the company and the way it works with its customers.

Accolade Logistics provides a comprehensive range of haulage, transport, warehousing and distribution services, helping businesses get their goods where they need to be safely and efficiently.

Their fleet ranges from vans through to large 44-ton vehicles, enabling the company to handle everything from smaller urgent consignments to substantial commercial loads.

Services include same-day deliveries, guaranteed overnight transport, multi-drop deliveries, abnormal loads and specialist deliveries. The company also provides secure warehouse storage, with a 12,000 sq ft facility offering businesses additional flexibility when managing their goods.

Technology also plays an important role in the service, with track-and-trace systems helping Accolade monitor vehicles and provide customers with accurate information about their deliveries.

Accolade Logistics was founded in 1999 by two step-brothers and began life with just one vehicle.

Since the turn of the millennium, the business has expanded rapidly. From that single vehicle, Accolade has developed a diverse fleet of more than 30 vehicles and established itself as one of the larger hauliers operating in the North West.

Despite that growth, Accolade has retained its family-business values. This is reflected throughout the company, right down to individual trucks within its fleet being dedicated to family members and friends, past and present.

Today, the company operates from Atlas Works in Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington, combining transport operations with warehousing, storage and associated logistics services.

Accolade Logistics’ journey from a single vehicle to a substantial North West haulage operation demonstrates what can be achieved through hard work, reliability and a commitment to customers.

By combining modern technology, a versatile fleet and an expanding range of services with the personal approach of a family business, Accolade has built a strong reputation within the logistics industry.

More than two decades after its formation, the company continues to keep businesses moving while remaining firmly connected to its Lancashire roots.
